Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using covari ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with anyone else. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Creator Obligations
As a creator on the Platform, you agree to: deliver content that meets the agreed-upon specifications and deadlines; provide accurate analytics and audience data; not engage in any form of metric manipulation or fraud; comply with all applicable advertising disclosure laws and regulations.
5. Brand Obligations
As a brand on the Platform, you agree to: provide clear and complete campaign briefs; fund escrow accounts before work begins; review and respond to deliverables within the agreed timeline; not use creator content beyond the scope of the agreement without additional compensation.
6. Payments and Fees
covari charges a 10% platform fee on all transactions, split equally — 5% from the creator and 5% from the brand. Payments are processed through Stripe and held in escrow until deliverables are approved. Creators receive payment within 3-5 business days of approval. All fees are clearly displayed before any transaction is confirmed.
7. Intellectual Property
Creators retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed in writing within a specific partnership agreement. Brands receive a license to use delivered content as specified in the partnership terms. The Platform's own branding, code, and design remain the property of covari.
8. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a creator and a brand, both parties agree to use the Platform's built-in dispute resolution process before pursuing external legal action. Our mediation team reviews all evidence including messages, deliverables, and agreement terms to reach a fair resolution.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: use the Platform for any illegal purpose; attempt to circumvent Platform fees by taking deals off-platform; create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; upload malicious content or attempt to compromise Platform security.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, any pending transactions will be resolved according to our dispute resolution process before funds are released.
11. Limitation of Liability
covari provides the Platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for losses arising from partnerships between users.
